Award-Winning Greens: Carramar Golf Course Crowned WA Venue of the Year 2025
Fancy a round of golf on an award-winning course? Carramar Golf Course came out swinging at the 2025 Belgravia Leisure Awards, when it was celebrated for its excellence across every aspect of the venue. The honour, 2025 WA Venue of the Year, recognised a year of outstanding achievement, innovation and community impact at the resort-style golf course.
From the moment of arrival on the course, it’s clear why the golf venue thrives within the community of Carramar. The golf course has become a benchmark for golf experiences in Western Australia, combining top-tier course presentation with warm, professional service and a vibrant community spirit.
Carramar Golf Course boasts an 18-hole public golf course and an all-grass driving range, hosting several programs and lessons. “It’s been a truly wonderful year at Carramar. I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful for the amazing community of golfers and visitors who make this place so special. Their support and our team’s passion are what make Carramar shine.”
The award is a testament to the dedication of Carramar’s entire team, from front-of-house staff to the tireless grounds maintenance crew, who lead with a safety-first culture to keep the course in pristine condition year-round. The team’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that every round played at Carramar is memorable.
However, Carramar’s success goes beyond the fairways. The venue has embraced strategic growth and innovative marketing, with dynamic social media campaigns and inclusive events that welcome everyone, from seasoned golfers to curious newcomers. The course hosts one of Western Australia’s largest MyGolf junior programs, which includes clinics specifically designed for both boys and girls aged 4 to 12. Girls are welcome and actively encouraged to participate.
The MyGolf junior clinics, part of the national MyGolf initiative by Golf Australia, are aimed at introducing juniors to golf in a fun, supportive and structured environment. These clinics and the elite coaching sessions on offer have helped foster a diverse and engaged golfing community.
This year’s win is more than a moment of recognition for Carramar, Chris continued, “It’s a fantastic feeling to know that our hard work has paid off to make this such a great course and space for our community”.
The win highlights the consistent effort, creativity and care put into the venue. By elevating the standard for golf venues, it has created a space where people feel genuinely welcome, included and inspired.
